Qualifications & Requirements

New to JTNC? Players who have not previously registered for a JTNC are required to create an account.

Please note: Registration for the 2027 JTNC season opens January 1, 2027.

Pathway Tour

To play in a JTNC Pathway Tour tournament, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Between the ages of 10–18 by tournament day
    • Players under 10 may request an exemption
  • Have not started college
  • Have an established Handicap Index® at the time of tournament entry:
    • Boys: Handicap Index 4.1–18.4
    • Girls: Handicap Index 6.1–18.4
  • Have a current NCGA or Youth on Course membership
  • Complete the mandatory Rules and Etiquette Curriculum
  • Pay 2027 JTNC Pathway Tour Membership Fee of $45

Championship Tour

To play in a JTNC Championship Tour tournament, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Between the ages of 10–18 by tournament day
    • Players under 10 may request an exemption
  • Have not started college
  • Have an established Handicap Index® at the time of tournament entry:
    • Boys: Handicap Index 4.0 or lower
    • Girls: Handicap Index 6.0 or lower
  • Have a current NCGA or Youth on Course membership
  • Complete the mandatory Rules and Etiquette Curriculum
  • Pay 2027 JTNC Pathway Tour Membership Fee of $85
